A hungry monkey, seeking food for his fill
The foolish creature comes upon pot
Peeping inside, some food he spots
Without much thought, he puts his arm inside
Only to become the hunters game and delight
This monkey is caught in the Pot.
So are we all with our emotions caught
A broken hearted one can't forget
The pain of rejection begets
"Oh He does not love me anymore" she says
I asked her "Do you?"
"Do you love yourself?" I asked her again
she sighed, and I sighed too.
Saying again to myself
"This Monkey is caught in the Pot"
" I am not good enough for him" she said yet again
"Ah there you see that is your banana of feed"
This pot of mind feeding on an inadequate thought
Never satisfied with the food he got
She peeped inside the pot again
and found a banana to play her game
"I am not good enough" - A food of thought, A food for game
"This monkey is surely caught in the Pot".
Maya - the hunter has won again
Casting its web of Emotional game
Now again we spin round and round
Crying and scattered we lay on the ground
This Monkey is caught in the pot
This food of Illusion, we are still caught.
