A patient falls into an ICU, hours of turmoil unfold, eventually something goes wrong like it always does, what happens? Doctors panic, relatives panic everything goes awry. What do we see? A person lying on the bed waiting for a moment when the body completely goes lifeless, no sign of life, no movement, breath leaves without entering again. What is this death? Coma? Sleep?
Rationalists think that it is the brain that decides all the function for a Human Body, but is really true? If so then under all conditions apparently working organs why does the Human Body collapse? The heart beat stops, the kidneys stop functioning, the liver stops, blood stops circulating, but mind? What about the mind? What is this mind? The brain is clinically declared dead, organism has achieved a state of non movement, a life force that was present a moment ago that activated the body has Now become illusive, dormant? What happened? What went wrong?
A question that still mystifies humanity today beyond all reason of cause and effect, even beyond the logic's of all rationalists. Consciousness - that is exactly what became illusive. A consciousness that activated the body, the brain, the heart, kidneys, liver etc, suddenly went very quiet and along with it, it took the life force, the breath away. Who can control the breath, man can make machines to modulate it, to execute the flow of air into the lungs, but no machine or science can provide a breath of Life. Life after all is such a Mystery.. Thank God.
