Some one once said " Its very easy to be a Teacher but very difficult to be a very good student", i wonder if anyone would remember who uttered these words? They were from one the greatest spiritual Icons of the 20th Century Ramakrishna Paramhansa. What a statement!!! One of the greatest thrills of life - The alcohol of recognition - Fame. One who gets drunk with it takes time to get undrunk, and when he is undrunk he wishes to get drunk with it again. The LSD of Celebrity consciousness - One cant live with it but surely cant live without it. A friend just asked me to have a word about it so here i am inspired again...
In a vision that i saw
A man drunk with recognition
He dropped dead drunk every place every night
and woke up thinking this is life
One day something else happened
when the clock has struck its time
He dropped again on the ground
struggling to find a hand to help him stand
None appeared.... how sad
what he thought about all of them
Their glittering faces breezing past his mind
Down the memory lane and Now....
the Reality of the moment took its toll
it shook something under his Heart's fall
This moment a truth stood by his side
that none have come with him so none are beside
An aloneness grew with dark shadows of past
for this world is always the best prostitute
to the customer who pays it well
with nothing to pay it doest not ask
The Famous or the poor most down trodden of all.
For all have risen and all will fall one day to rise again
This has been the story of life so far
and it will stay as is till the end.....
